Oman has membership in quite a number of regional organisation which to name a few include the Arab League, Arab Organisation of Oil Exporting Countries (OAPEC) and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). Oman has good relations with its both GCC neighbours Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Both countries are members of the GCC and therefore cooperate with Oman in areas such as trade and security. Relations with UAE improved further in 2003 after the signing of a demarcation agreement covering the disputed areas of Musandam Peninsula and Al Madhah enclaves.
Furthermore Oman also enjoys good relations with Yemen . Relations between the two counties improved significantly after the settlement of the border demarcation dispute.
